Line up complete & Skin Deep donation

Ellon events are delighted to announce that they have completed their line up of acts at this years J M Taylor Gig at the Brig. Local talent on stage this year will see Chloe Milne and Glass monkey appearing as support acts to the previously announced Silver City Soul Revue and event headliners – Dumfries’ Pipe Rockers The Dangleberries.
Chloe Milne and Glass Monkey both appeared on stage at the Skin Deep music fun day earlier this year where Ellon Events committee members were invited to attend in their search for local talent for this years Hogmanay event.

Seperately, Ian and Jayne Brown of Skin Deep donated the proceeds of this years music fun day to Ellon Events.

The aim is to make the best event in Ellon EVER even better still. It will take lots of hard work but it can and will be done.

Find out where everything will be on the night.
Entry point is outside East & West entrance, queuing up towards the Square.
Tickets can be exchanged for wristbands in advance to speed up entry at the gate, or at the gate.
Drink tokens will be available in advance or inside the event. Purchasing some in advance will save on queuing for those all important first drinks

Bar tokens to go on sale/ Wristband exchange

To speed up the bar on the night, it will not be accepting cash at the event, servers will only be accepting drink tokens.
These tokens will be available shortly before the event as well as inside the event on the night.
There may be queues at the gate and at the drink ticket kiosk as well as at the bar, so purchasing some in advance will save you from an extra queue. We will announce the times and place that these tickets will be available very soon. You will also be able to exchange your event ticket for a colour-coded wristband at the same time.
Any person who appears to be under 25 will be required to provide appropriate proof of age in order to get an ‘over 18’ wristband. Stewards will be extra vigilant on the night and will eject any adult providing alcohol to under 18’s without and warnings. Alcohol will be confiscated from anyone under 18 and destroyed – again, no warnings.

Summer raffle winner

Craig Main of Aberdeen was the name on the ticket drawn out in-front of the crowds at the Ellon Pedal Car race by Neil Beedie of the Buchan Hotel, Ellon.

Craig now has to decide which 3 lucky friends he will invite to play golf at Trump International with him.

Ellon Events committee were delighted to sell out the full 200 tickets for the draw and thank everyone who bought them. There were several wishing to purchase who had to be turned away in the afternoon.

Ellon Events stall at Ellon Pedal Car Race

Ellon Events will have a full committee turn out at the Ellon Pedal Car Race day this Sunday (25th August 2013). 

The team will be on hand to answer questions about the Hogmanay gig as well as selling tickets for the event and raffle tickets for the 4-ball at Trump International.

Pedal Car Race day is a great day out for all the family. See you there supporting a top community event and buying your tickets for another upcoming one.

Gig at the Brig tickets are only £15 for adults and £5 for under 14’s.
